TT Mission:

Teen Tech furthers the mission of Computers4Kids by increasing participant retention beyond completion of the mentoring program, and developing their technology and design skills beyond their initial introduction. Teen Tech will operate Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday with anticipated programming 5 days a week in a newly constructed space adjacent to the existing Computers4Kids labs and offices.

Teen Tech will provide the following services:

• Individual and small group activities using a wide variety of professional grade applications, structured by monthly themes, in collaboration with Community Partner Organizations

• Collaborative peer to peer and peer to adult relationships

• Hands-on opportunities to learn about potential careers and acquire specific job skills through job shadowing and mentoring from community volunteers

• College and career preparation, including scholarship, internship and employment facilitation
