Donate to C4K and empower our youth with your laptops and tablets!

C4K takes donations of the following working laptops:

  • PC Laptops [Windows 10 capable].
  • MacBooks [running El Capitan (10.11) or beyond].
  • Tablets [with power cables].

We accept donations between 9am and 5pm Monday through Friday. Please complete our donation form and bring it with your donation.  Please call before coming by so we can be sure a staff person is available to take your donation. Click here for directions.

Please note: C4K is only able to receive working laptop computers, as we refurbish and distribute the machines to youth. Below are resources for recycling or repurposing other computer equipment:

Free in-store electronics recycling. Just drop-off CPUs and electronic equipment* in store. There is no limit to how much you can donate per day.

*Please note – there is a per-item fee for items with anything larger than a 12-inch screen.

Customers can get rid of their old or unwanted electronics in several ways:

– Recycling kiosks — Every U.S. Best Buy store has kiosks, just inside the front doors, to drop off rechargeable batteries, wires, cords, cables and plastic bags.

– Recycling in store at the Customer Service counter — Best Buy stores accept most electronics (desktops, hard drives, laptops, printers. Fee for monitors) with a few exceptions.
