Holiday Light Shows at IX Art Park

Fun for all the family

Charlottesville residents are invited to a fun-filled holiday music and lights show at IX Art Park. The new holiday light show is in partnership with UVA School of Engineering students, C4K and Three-Notch’d Brewery.

All shows are free, with a $5 suggested donation to C4K, which provides local youth from low-income households with STEM mentoring and technology access, to prepare them to be competitive for college and career opportunities.

Useful Info

Stop by the Three-Notch’d Brewery Craft Kitchen for food and drinks beforehand, and then head outside at 6:30 for a 30 minute light show! Feel free to bring chairs, blankets and your dancing shoes – whatever you need to get cozy and in the holiday spirit!

Who is C4K?

C4K equips Charlottesville and Albemarle County youth (6-12th grade) from low-income households with 21st-century skills to be competitive in college and careers. To do so, they provide supportive individual and group mentoring, a creative out-of-school learning environment, access to professional-grade technology, project-based learning, and youth leadership opportunities. One of the most important things C4K does is help local youth from economically disadvantaged homes imagine bigger and better possibilities for themselves.
